Meatloaf: Quick and Easy Sicilian Meatloaf

Jan 18, 2011 This was a huge hit. I used homemade bread crumbs, homemade MSG-free onion soup mix, and I added a teaspoon of homemade italian seasoning and half of one chopped yellow onion. We all liked this a huge deal BUT the topping for us just was too sweet. If I were to make this again, I would leave off the topping. I'm thinking using part pasta/marinara sauce in the meatloaf mix and some served over the top would be good. Or just plain would be good, too. Even with the topping, there were no leftovers. We just ate around the topping.
