Old-fashioned, delicious and easy to make describes this yummy dessert. It's wonderful served with ice cream. —Nancy Horsburgh, Everett, Ontario

This was delicious and I was lucky enough to use fresh picked peaches from a local orchard! Of course a scoop of vanilla ice cream was the perfect compliment on the side!

Could not find fresh peaches, so I used three large cans of peaches, drained, and made a hardsauce of the juice instead of icecream, delicious

Made this a few weeks ago with fresh peachs from the farmers market.. sooo good and so easy!

So easy grandkids were able to make it with very little supervision.

This is SO yummy! I have made it 3 times in 3 weeks, for various functions, and it's been a big hit. I like that I don't have to get my mixer out, too.

Very tasty. I also omitted the lemon peel without sacrificing taste. I only peeled and sliced the peaches without blanching. Don't use too shallow of a baking dish. This is a fair amount of ingredients. I've put this one in my recipe box.

My peach crumble came out good! Although, I had some juicy liquid in the filling after baking... I think it was just because my peaches were overly ripe.

So delicious! My mother in law sent over 2 jars of canned peaches which made this recipe even easier!

Main Dish Seafood: Grilled Salmon with Curried Peach Sauce

Jun 28, 2010 When I told my family I was making Salmon with Peach sauce, the grandkids made faces, but they've tasted it now and the youngest is asking me to make it for his birthday dinner! They all love it. If it rains, you can bake the salmon in foil packets with made-ahead sauce at 375 for 15-20 min. It comes out jucy and delicious, maybe better than on the grill.

Slow Cooker Peach BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

Tasty Kitchen Blog: Slow Cooker Peach BBQ Chicken Sandwiches. Guest post by Amber Potter of Sprinkled with Flour, recipe submitted by TK member Marie of Little Kitchie.

Can you ever have too many slow cooker recipes? I don’t think so. I love coming home at the end of the day to dinner all ready in the crockpot, just waiting to be devoured by my hungry family. Slow cooker recipes are a life saver when you’re too busy to mess with dinner prep. Just throw a little of this and a little of that in the pot and you’re good to go. Just don’t forget to plug it in—yeah that’s happened to me before, if I’m being honest. More than once.

If you’re looking for a tasty new slow cooker recipe to try, then these Slow Cooker Peach BBQ Chicken Sandwiches from TK member Marie are perfect to try out. The chicken slowly simmers in a rich sauce of barbecue sauce (I used my own homemade sauce), sticky sweet peach preserves, onions, and garlic. Then top it all off with creamy coleslaw, some fresh sliced avocado, and you’ve got yourself one tasty sandwich.

You’ll need: chicken breasts, spicy barbecue sauce, peach preserves, onion, garlic, bread, butter, coleslaw, and avocado.

Get a nice scoopful of the peach preserves.

Add the preserves, give it a good stir, then place the chicken on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

When chicken is done, remove it from the slow cooker along with some of the sauce, and use a fork to shred the chicken.

Toast your bread with a little butter. I used Hawaiian rolls but your favorite bread will work.
