Chopped Onion Substitute
When there’s no time to chop onions, onion powder is one option. Substitute 1 tablespoon of onion powder for one medium chopped onion. For the best onion flavor, use frozen chopped onions or dried minced onion (found in the spice aisle). One tablespoon of dried minced onion equals 1/4 cup minced raw onion.

Reviewed on Jul. 01, 2013 by transcona very good recipe, family loved it
Reviewed on Jul. 01, 2013 by Lizzie1013 Can you use regular cola in this recipe? I am allergic to aspartame. Also, aspartame should not be used in recipes which are heated or baked.
Reviewed on Jul. 01, 2013 by arkansasrose58 I make this recipe all the time, using the crock pot. Love it!
Reviewed on Jul. 01, 2013 by dwilfer Everyone WAS surprised to hear the secret ingredient. It was VERY moist. YUM.
Reviewed on Mar. 08, 2013 by pinksuitcases I like this better than barbeque chicken. It's so easy and tastes deliciously different. Plus I always have these ingredients on hand, so it's a fabulous go-to. Try it!
Reviewed on Jul. 07, 2012 by kitchenhelperKY I at first thought how strange. But in the end it was a really good recipe that I would fix again
Reviewed on Oct. 31, 2011 by langang Delicious and very moist. Will definitely make again.
Reviewed on Jul. 21, 2011 by cheerndanzmom Don't know what happened but the chicken was chewy. Had a good flavor but probably won't make it again. Will take the leftovers and pressure cook them then shred add cheese and make a wrap.
Reviewed on Apr. 16, 2011 by cbspencer We just had it for dinner, will make again very good! Chicken nice and moist
Reviewed on Mar. 28, 2011 by Regina815 This recipe was great I love it but I baked after I fix it the way it was. My husband want me to save it and fix it for the guys.
