My brother-in-law says they're the best sandwiches he's ever tasted. Reviewed on Apr. 13, 2013 by adbjw6ab Finally found a recipe that tastes like the sloppy joes served at high school. Love this recipe and will be making it from now on.
Reviewed on Apr. 13, 2013 by 12653 This recipe hit out of the park with my family .There were no left overs.
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by Maiden FaireThank You. I look forward to making this. I loved sloppy joes as a kid but do not like canned sloppy joe sauces. Been looking for a good recipe for awhile. This sounds Delicious (sans green peppers).
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by naduah This can be made vegetarian just by using 2 packages of Morningstar Burger Crumbles. It works very well, because all the ingredients melt together. Nobody would even know their isn't meat in it!
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by bettswe I found this recipe in an issue of Taste of Home several years ago. It has become my favorite recipe and I have had to recopy it several times because of the worn and splattered edges.
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by dihiggins Great recipe! It just needed a few fixer uppers. No steak sauce or ketchup and garlic powder instead of salt. Drop the paprika and it sings.
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by Weems Grnadma Sweet. This younger generation likes thing sweet. I doctored it after following recipe by adding a massive dollop of hot sauce. Hamburger rolls are now sweet, dairies add sugar to milk to please modern taste, even mayo is now sweet. Guess I am an old lady who prefers the taste to be savory not sweet.
Reviewed on Apr. 12, 2013 by pattibourey We have been enjoying these sloppy joes since the recipe came out in the 2000 Taste of Home yearly book. They are the best we have ever had!!
Reviewed on Mar. 27, 2013 by DoggieMom2 This is my go-to sloppy joe recipe. It's the only one I make. Tastes even better the day after.
